Sabena to strike??
Are the rumours true that SN are to strike this month?
I have three milleage runs planned to get my 110K bonus points and would hate strikes to mess things up.

Sabena will run out of money unless they can get the unions to go along with job cut backs by the end of this month.

Saved for two months due to cash injection late Feb 2001. Expect trouble coming back to forefront in May/June. The Swiss will pull out despite their contractual commitment to buy up to 85% of Sabena - if and when that happens, Sabena is dead. Of course, there may be a buyer out there (KLM?) but at what price. I doubt the survival of Qualiflyer and wouldn't expect to good an exchange rate of acrued mileage with the currency of the acquirer's FFP. So, I'd start redeeming now before the party's over.
