AOM miles

AOM miles
Hi, I have to fly AOM from LAX-PPT (Tahiti) and I'm trying to figure out if these miles can be credited to a US-based airline's FF program, or only Qualiflyer. Any ideas would be appreciated.

burkey has reported earlier that "All of the Qualiflyer airlines are to be AAdvantage participants this month" (see this link: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/Forum71/HTML/002348.html ), although RDURES1 responded that "the whole thing has been postponed to a yet to be announced date".

Eugene, Thanks for the reply. Hopefully it will happen before I travel in August. Otherwise, I'm afraid the miles accruing in a qualiflyer account will do me little good!
