Problems with free tickets
I usually use up my miles for partner ticket and upgrades. I heard its getting more difficult to get free SR tickets with miles. What are you experiencec?

my (exclusivly for inner-european-flights-) experience:
no problem at all for FREE return-tickets.
(so far used in 98: ZRH-Bussels, ZRH-Paris, ZRH-Helsinki, and my brother upgrade eco-bus SFO-ZRH).
(a hint: high season Switzerland in 99: juli/august, oct 3-24, dec-17 to jan 3)
