Difference in baggage allowance

Difference in baggage allowance

I got a flight I'm looking at from mxp-doh-han and I see the baggage allowance is 88 pounds if not from America or Africa in j is that accurate?

Yes, that's the standard Business Class baggage allowance where the weight concept is used.

The piece concept only applies to and from certain regions. For SE Asia it's weight, and that's 40KG's in each direction.

QR is very stingy when it applies its weight concept (only 40kg or 88 pounds) to anywhere but America/Africa.
All the other airlines I fly (BA, CX, AF) use the piece concept everywhere and allow 2x32kg, in J or a total of 141 pounds. A dramatic difference.
Also BA (and others) allow an extra bag of 32kg for OWE, while QR only adds 20kg
