Codeshare with Indigo - Oneworld Emerald
If booked on Qatar do you get lounge access, baggage allowance, seat selection on these flights?
I'm a BA GOLD (Oneworld emerald) booking on Qatar

Indigo is not a OW airline. So OW status benefits will not apply.
Some airlines have out of alliance agreements with specific airlines, where their status (~QR) will get something

Another 6E thread-->Qatar flight number on an Indigo operated service
"Members of Qatar Airways’ loyalty programme Privilege Club will also benefit from the strategic cooperation by earning Avios on all code-share flights operated by IndiGo. Likewise, Qatar Airways’ generous baggage rules, which are especially important for international travellers, apply on all code-share flights"

When I flew Del-Doh on Indigo on a Qatar issued ticket as a OWE, I had my OWE luggage allowance but no seat selection ( the QR PNR was not the same as the Indigo one, so check in only allowed at Del), no lounge, but a surprise meal on board!

I also got the avios, though i had to ask for them.
Apart from a snack on board, that's it. The snack will either be a rubbishy pot noodle, or a small but not-too-bad sandwich.
Forget the nonsense about different PNR. It doesn't matter. You will not be able to book a seat, and you can't check-in online. 6E's own passengers can do all that, but not QR's. So if you don't want a middle seat it's a good idea to get to the airport early.
I've flown Indigo quite a bit in India, where it has a pretty good reputation as a LCC on the lines of easyJet rather than Ryanair. It's fine if you splash out the modest amounts for the extras, but it's maybe not the sort of airline you'd expects Skytrax's favourite 5-star carrier to stick its code on.

QR number in BOM
So Im OWE booked on QR J operated by 6E BOM-DOH (onwards to DUB). My summary:
- No PNR for Indigo (sent 24 hours or otherwise)
- However I was able to select seat 1F through Qatar which 6E thinks is premium economy
- No check in online
- Came to the airport and 1F had vanished from the booking. They managed (with 20 mins of calling and WhatsApping to resinstate it). Apparently they get a list from Qatar on who should be in premium economy. But I showed them my email conf from QR and they eventually sorted. Not sure whether it was a a favour or is actually how the system works.
- No lounge access in BOM

Yes it is indeed a 737-8 Max. Damn Ive tried to avoid it as an aircraft (not being superstitious or anything)🤞
Im not sure how I managed to end up here but Qatar allowed me to select the seat on MMB and apparently there is a magic list shared with Indigo as to who should be in the J section (which I dont think I was on). Much better than my last Indigo QR flight in which I was allocated a middle seat right at the back when I arrived in Doha and swore never to fly the code share again.

Qatar Indigo Oneworld Status Issues
Id advise BC or One World Emerald pax against flying the QR codeshare Indigo flights.
I flew QR to Kochi and all was well. My return from Cochi to Doha was an AirIndigo/QR codeshare.
I like Indigo for internal India flights, and this flight was perfectly fine. Its just a long way from being QR.
The substandard cabin with no inflight entertainment was especially disappointing considering it was a QR plane.
What I did appreciate was that while I was traveling economy, they did put me into the BC section on account of my Emerald status. I would have been really upset paying QR BC for this flight.
Overall a subpar QR codeshare experience. (Unlike the Oman Air codeshare which is great.)
Plus now have to chase BA to credit miles for these flights.

- No fast track check in; baggage tagging; or priority security lanes.
- No lounge access. Lounge access only for full QR flights!!!??
- Old QR 737 seating. 2 BC rows of 4 seats in a row two abreast.
- Plane and pilots QR, but crew and cabin decor and amenities (or lack thereof) Indigo.
- No drinks offered pre take off; no amenity kit; no inflight entertainment; no hot meal on approx. 5 hour evening flight. Just a bag containing juice; a small packet of spicy rice crackers and a cookie. Plus a veg or non veg sandwich.
- High chance youll have a family with a baby/toddler or both in front of you.

Sorry don't know where you got that information from but you only get avios for QR code share flights operated by Indigo. You don't get any qpoints (tier points) unfortunately and it's a LCC service only.

I do not believe a qr codeshare on an indego prime flight woukd give tp to baec. If it is a qr prime flight that indego is operating as a wet lease that would be different
