Qatar VIP service?
First time on Qatar so not sure if this is usual service? On arriving at Doha from Heathrow we parked on a remote stand. Other business class passengers got on a bus but I was taken in a car to the terminal.
On arriving at Kuala Lumpur I was taken via car instead of bus like everyone else as the monorail is closed. And escorted all the way through arrivals.
Our checked luggage has yellow Qatar VIP tags on which Ive never seen before.
Also the cabin crew kept addressing us as your excellency!
I dont have any status with Qatar or Oneworld. However I did use the Heathrow VIP service so maybe they informed Qatar and we accidentally got a VIP service lol?

Without really knowing, I think this is an extension of the Heathrow VIP service you aid for, not anything inherently you got directly from QR.
In my time flying QR that kind of service is mostly reseved for their executive jet customers, and local VVIPs in their home market.
I could be wrong.
