If talking about increase frequency, the following destinations also apply:
- London (LGW): 1 daily moving to 2 daily from Jun 19
- London (LHR): 42 weekly moving to 45 weekly from Mar 28
- Hong Kong: 10 weekly moving to 2 daily from Apr 2

Hong Kong is currently 11 weekly and I don't see that changing to 2 daily in April (EF).

QR's website confirms the 2x daily service to HKG. The 2nd service is launching on the 31st of March.

Brace yourself for more schedule changes / airplane swaps with this so called announcement lol.

I can already see some LHR evening flights changing from 77W to 789 on some dates which is a welcome addition however bit strange as the eve flights from LHR has always been 99% 77W QSuites historically.

Also on the rumour mill a new destination in S.America (potentially EZE non-stop)

Yes, I saw the 787-9s popping up on one of the flights to LHR too which I think is strange. I wondered if it was basically a similar-sized placeholder until the Qsuites A350s were back in the air. If they actually do intend to fly them to LHR that's very weird since they have a lot fewer J seats and J to LHR is almost always completely full these days even with 42 J seats.

Weird that you can buy First class on QR's website for QR815 but it's operated by a 787-8.

EZE non-stop would be great!

What are thoughts that YYZ would be added? Is it a far fetched idea?

They would in a heartbeat if it wasn’t for the typical Canadian Gov’t protectionism in favour of AC, I believe they’ve maxed out their current allowed weekly flight rights.

Good to see Qatar resuming a late night service out of Tokyo Haneda (HND) to Doha, enabling a short connection on to LHR arriving early afternoon the same day. And on an A350-900 with Q Suites rather than the old non-Q biz class B777s which they persist on flying out of NRT.

They have already started! Some small changes and others bigger. I've just had a 12 hour change in flight from Phuket in August this year.

As opposed to brand new destinations, does anything think a lot of the new routes will just be the ones that were dropped during Covid being reinstated?
