QR F - dress code?
Just wondering if anyone knows the dress code rules for QR First class please?
I obviously won’t turn up in shorts and flip flops, but all the information online seems to be people asking questions about J as far as I can see.
So long trousers - are jeans acceptable, or should I be looking at a nice pit of chinos, or even something a bit more formal?!
It looks like a ‘collared shirt’ might also be required? I’m guessing a polo shirt wouldn’t count… what about a T-shirt with a blazer on top?
Footwear… are trainers a no-no?
TIA

Jeans and a T Shirt will cause fewer looks from other passengers but the crew wont care.

Hey Globalist, thanks for the reply.
Just to double check - your experience was in Qatar first class - and not Qantas?
I was thinking about being a little more moderate/conservative in my attire, given culture etc.
Also whether it impacts access to Al Safwa lounge or not! Cheers

My experience is that clothes don't matter.
I understand the QF lounge in Sydney has a no slippers policy but as I was ticketed in F they did not raise an eyebrow.
On any airline, jeans, Tshirt, sportshoes will be decent enough. If you are ticketed in F it doesn't matter what you wear as long as it is not bottomless leather chaps with a harness top. Just make yourself comfortable for travel. In most cases I have changed into F pyjamas before takeoff anyway.

I was ticketed J with access to Al Safwa as I am Platinum. I wore shorts, a t-shirt and loafers and nobody batted an eyelid.
I've seen shorts on QR F many times. Wear what you would be comfortable in.

Hey buddy
T-shirt and a light weight wrinkle free blazer should get you by. As for trousers get yourself a pair of UnderArmor golf slacks...they look great and are very comfortable for travel.
This always gets me through the transition from First Class flight to luxury hotel (IE: Conrad Osaka) without looking like a slob.
