40K Avios to upgrade to business
I have seen this on qatars website but can’t find any more details about it.

Is this 40K avios for one leg of the journey? Has anybody upgraded using this?

It is for one-way but really isn't of any value since you can buy a business ticket using Avios on BA for 40k anyway.
