Male flights are not affected, and they still have three daily flights using these ex-CX four class 77Ws with first class.

Yes, you are right. QR has just updated with the following the aircraft operations for HKG:
On late February, they cancelled all Tuesday and Friday flight between 7 March - 30 June 2022.
Very recently, they changed the type of aircraft will be operate between 16 - 31 March:
77P (42 Q Suites+312 Economy) replaces 7D3 (ex CX aircrafts) - 16, 17 March
77N (24 Q Suites+388 Economy) replaces 7D3 (ex CX aircrafts) - 20 March
77I (42 BE Mini Pod+316 Economy) replaces 7D3 (ex CX aircrafts) - 19, 21, 23, 24, 26 March
351 replaces 7D3 (ex CX aircrafts) - 27, 30, 31 March
Switched back to A350(-900) with Q Suite at the moment - 28 March
-All info from QR Cargo-

Which means first class for HKG will be introduced at 2 April the earlist. (QR818/817 on 1 April remains cancelled)

That Brunello is insanely good.

Wi-Fi claims to be the same Super Wi-Fi provided on most other Qatar flights but it’s a completely different login hosted by GoGo.

IFE is VERY limited, defiantly not Oryx although it’s skinned as such.

Crew is fantastic and just as excited about a new aircraft as we are.

Given we’ve been traveling for 24 hours prior to this flight and took off at 1am I’d agree.

@jmail1 Did Qatar offer any type of amenity kit or pajama for this short flight?
I am pleasantly surprised that they offer two meals and thanks for sharing!

EK was offering the full EK experience including mattress toppers.

Only thing QR has IMHO that is better is the menu. We only got a breakfast service which wasn't that great.

Hope you had a good flight

Yes, same pajamas and diptyque amenity kit we received on the US-DOH flight right before it.

Are these ex-CX frames permanent additions or will they go back to CX eventually?

I don't think they will go back to CX, as they are in Qatari registration
If they will go back, they will be carrying Hong Kong registration, ie B-KPM instead of A7-BOA

The IFE looks a bit different from what we usually seen in other 777-300ER, even though all 777-300ER are Panasonic
