Flying through DOH to USA COVID testing question
Flying CGK-DOH-PHL next week. If I understand new US testing requirements correcting, Rapid Antigen (which are much MUCH cheaper in Indonesia than PCR) is a valid test. Any of you flown QR back to the States on a Rapid Antigen test since the new requirements began?
Also, I just want to make sure, QR the airline and Qatar the country have no testing currently to transit in Doha correct?
Thank you for sharing your experiences.

So just to be clear, Qatar Airways does not require a negative COVID test to board, transit DOH and arrive in the U.S.A.?
And they only require what the U.S.A. requires?
So a day-prior antigen test is acceptable to QR?

QR and Qatar do not require anything. I was just looking, and I assume you are too, of finding someone that checked in with QR using on Rapid Antigen. Even though it is allowed by US, I read on another board of one person getting pushback.

Rapid Self Test from DOH
Didn't want to start a new thread: I'm planning to use a rapid antigen self test that is proctored to travel from DOH-JFK. Has anyone gotten pushback in DOH with this type of test?

To be clear - the rapid test must be supervised by a medical professional in person or online. It's not a self test that you administer on your own. The provider must confirm your identity, observe the sample collection and testing procedures, confirm the test result, and issue a report that meets the requirements of CDC’s Order. I'm in Thailand and most clinics offered the service here. When I checked in at Qatar in Phuket in December, the person looked at the report and accepted it without question.
