QR leasing 4 class CX 77Ws
Seems like QR will be leasing some CX 77Ws. Apparently 1 airframe is already in Doha with 3 more to follow. Also looks like they’re gonna keep the original CX config (no qsuites). Guess it makes sense with the 350 grounding and needing a short term fix, but still interesting that QR will be selling both first and premium economy.

Just seen this article online. It is interesting to see the ex-CX 777-300ER are flying back to its old home base.It seems QR has removed the reservation on First Class at the moment.
Qatar resveration shows A350-900 on 1-14 Jan and 1 Feb onwards with exception on showing A350-1000 on 15 Mar
QR Cargo shows:
A350(-900) on 1-14 Jan, 2-28 Feb, 1 Mar & 16 Mar onwards
No record on 15&16 Jan
B777(-200LR non-Q Suite) on 17 Jan
77V on 18-28 Jan, 1 Feb & 2-14 Mar
77N on 29 Jan
77I (777-300ER non-Q Suite) on 30&31 Jan
At the moment, seat map shows the configuration of 77V is same as 77I

I am trying to find these planes on routes. It looks like they are flying DOH-HKG and DOH-MLE. Can anyone give me more details on flight numbers or where to see if this has been extended into March. I am happy to do more research but need some help getting in the right direction. So far all I am finding is articles by bloggers/info already in this post.
I really want to try to get seats on one of these flights!

Even though the code shown in Cargo website is same as 777-200LR non-Q Suite, seat map in EF is able to distinguish which one is the ex-CX config.
However, there is no scheduled ex-CX aircraft operate to HKG or MLE between 1 Feb to 26 Mar.
HKG will be getting a mixture of non-Q Suite 358 seater 777-300ER, Q Suite 412 seater 777-300ER, non-Q Suite 258 seater 777-200LR & Q Suite 254 seater 777-200LR
MLE will be getting a mixture of non-Q Suite 358 seater 777-300ER, non-Q Suite 258 seater 777-200LR & Q Suite 254 seater 777-200LR

Scored 2 F award seats on JFK-DOH which seems to operate for 1 day only on Jan 24. It has since zeroed out in F so it might get downgraded in the end.

Yesterday our flight 672 DOH-MAL on 1st Feb was moved to a 1-2-1 config that matches these aircraft. So is being used.
Also degraded our 677 seats MAL-DOH on 11th Feb from Q Suite to a 2-2-2, so presuming a move to a 320, disappointing as I'd already moved us onto a later flight from a 320 config to grab Q Suite, seems significant downgrading on that route.

Does anyone have an up to date list of routes for these CX aircraft. Seems like ZRH is gone but I was wondering if they have moved it to another EU destination (not IST)?

Two more is coming (there will be six in total). Yes deliveries resumed but expansion is also happening at the same time, remember all China routes resumed this year and those are all 77W routes.

I think it should be pointed out that these are not Cathay Pacific 777s, they are ex-Cathay Pacific aircraft.
Cathay Pacific did not renew the leases on them, so the owner has leased them out to QR.
As far as I understand it, anyway!
