I have a flight booked on March 13th JFK-JNB with a 3 hour layover in DOH for my husband and myself. I recieved an offer from Qatar that I could upgrade my economy seats to business class for the DOH to JNB leg for $870. I'm assuming that's for each person but when I select to upgrade that's the total price.

Do you guys have any idea if the upgrade price they quote is per person? I booked both of our tickets together. Would I purchase 1 upgrade for $870 and then go and purchase the second ticket for the same price? This is my 1st time being offered an upgrade on Qatar so I'm bit unsure on how the pricing is.

Is that a good price to upgrade or should I pass? How do I know what seats are available in business class before I upgrade? I would prefer to sit near my husband since I'm a nervous flyer.

I forgot to mention the flight would be on an A350-900. Would that be worth paying an upgrade for?

There are 4 rows that still have the centre pairs available on that flight.

I've never been given the offer so I'm not sure how works.

should be for all passengers on booking. At least it was showing on my booking. Just tick the boxes. You can cancel before entering credit card details

Thanks for the info. How would I find out if flight 1365 has qsuites?

I used Expertflyer to access the seat map. It shows standard seats, not Q-suites.
