They only accept airline check-in desk issued BP. Another ridiculous rule which makes no sense whatsoever.
Interesting, I did not encounter this issue when departing on RJ on a C ticket.
The entry ladies after a short debate among each other eventually took a picture of the mobile boarding pass with their smart phones after which I was welcomed into the lounges (datapoint as per 10/2023).

I flew through in July '23. Maybe the fuss I made was enough for them to reconsider the silly rule.........you're welcome by the way.... )

I believe QR has startet using the Satellite Terminal. Last week, was my first time, first departure with QR from S122. Walk and Transfer was ok, not too long but I noticed they started "we are boarding" announcement in the QR lounge, about 1h before take off time
Boarding was total chaos, everybody just gathered around the BP scanners in one big crowd

Yes, it appears a move to the Satellite has commenced. Today QR835 an A380 left from Satellite S113 and QR833 left from S115.

Correct. I arrived at BKK on 6 February and both our flight and the following flight both arrived at the new S terminal.

Yes, all QR flights seems to be now leaving from the satellite terminal which is quite a PITA.
For those on Business lite tickets, this means using other OW lounges and those eligible for the QR lounge, this can be quite a PITA - as you will need leave sufficient time to get to the satellite terminal.
For those who are OK to just lounge around - there is a Miracle Lounge at the satellite terminal - invitation given out to ALL OW eligible elite members and those travelling on Biz-lite with status to use. The lounge seems to have just started not too long ago, so still quite some getting used to for staff, etc. Not the best but was very quiet during my flight today.

Cheers!

QR lounge staff walked round this morning and called everyone for both flights.

Left within 5 minutes of them walking round advising boarding and it was “final call” when we got to S111.

I don’t walk slowly either.

How do you get to the satellite terminal? Is there a train or do you have to walk ?

There is a train, no option to walk. Once you take the train, I'm not sure if there is an option to go back to the lounge. Boarding passes are checked before you get to the train to ensure your flight leaves from sat building

There is no option to return to the main terminal. If you find your way back to the transit, you will find yourself in the arrivals flow.

Seems like they changed the opening time again.
I booked a transit through BKK hoping to have dinner here as I love the ambiance. My flight is at 530pm =\ I was sure I had checked, and I had more time than this when I booked the ticket!

But can't you then clear security at the pier junctions to clear back into transit, i.e. back to international departures?
