New boarding music
Ok, super boring thread, but looks as though QR are rolling out new boarding/disembarking music. I think this sounds the same as the music played during the Qsuite unveiling ceremony:

This is a beautiful bit of music but prefer the old track by Marco Iodice, which I have to admit features heavily on my Spotify playlists!

I think it's part of the track used for the Q Suite advert.


Will be an extended version surely available soon. I think it's Quite nice. (Yes that was a badly placed pun, I'll get my coat).

I miss some of the previous music. This is one of my favourites (Andy Clark - Exotic Journeys):


As well as the instrumental version of Nagat Ella Enta which I can't find anywhere apart from this short recording:

I like the new one but Marco Iodice's one has a certain calming and welcoming effect to it.

Thought I had gone back in time this morning as my flight from Sharjah had the 2016 boarding music. It's one of my favourites! I asked one of the FAs who just looked at me like I was weird and didn't know why.

It's so unremarkable it's remarkable to mention it. Unlike the old music and music before I forgot this new one the moment it stopped. The others I have downloaded on my phone!

Not only is it unremarkable, it felt more fitting as a soundtrack to a sad scene in a movie. It's called 'Ascent' but it felt more of a mood 'Descent'.

Is the new boarding music for those yet to catch it. It's like the backing track for a Downtown Abbey episode.
