F Class Taken Offline?

Looking to get a F ticket to MEL for early next year and it doesn't even give the option to get F class only business class. Not sure what is going on?

Where is your departure point? Last year I was unable to purchase F tickets from LHR to SYD through the website (on any date) but could do so departing from Paris. I went with EK.

SYD has a known bug where (at least in my experience) you cannot price fares on QR.com from Europe - SYD if you are not travelling on a through F itinerary - i.e. all legs have F available, so only LHR or CDG. This has been ongoing for the last year or so and it seems MEL is the same. They will not reprice the fare if you book J and then want to upgrade the A380 leg to F, so call them to get a price or book through a TA.

Maybe I am missing something obvious here, but DOH-MEL is flown (at least currently) with a 777-300ER which has Y+J only. So they do not sell F because there is no F on the plane.

Effective 30th June, the DOH - MEL flight will be operated by the A380 going forward, so it will have F.
