Flying on QR009 in Jan 2017 with a scheduled 777 - how likely is that to change?

Hi guys,

As per title, in mid Jan 2017, I'm scheduled to fly from Doha to London on QR 009 with a 777.

Just wondering with the date being so far out - how certain are equipment likely to be?

Is it likely this will change and is there any chance that I could be flying on the A380 or A350?

It could change so many times you'd be back on a 777 twice by then.

Odd. As far as I can see qrcargo.com is showing QR9 as operated by A380 for the whole of Jan. Which date are you flying? Currently the QR9/10 rotation tends to be mostly A380s - although if you read the forum regularly you'll know that QR is renowned for aircraft changes!

As a few others have said - QR frequently changes aircraft on its routes so keep an eye on your booking and qrcargo.com and keep your fingers crossed if you want an A380/A350. But don't expect a particular aircraft only to get disappointed! Fingers crossed for you!

Although as purple1addict says I thought QR9 tended to be an a380!
