Premium check-in at DOH
A quick heads up from my DOH-DXB shuttle flight back yesterday. OW (and PC?) elites travelling Y can't use the F/J check-in area at DOH. I was politely guided to the 'special handling' desks, which is an area between the premium and Y areas.
Not a problem and sensitively handled. I certainly don't pay for F/J on short intra-Gulf hops

Yes, QR loves finding ways to wriggle out of Oneworld 'policy'. 
Although, to be fair, at least they apply it consistently to both PC members and other Oneworld FF status holders.

I have never experienced any queues at the DOH premium check-in area, except once when the immigration officers spent a few minutes chatting to some passengers (I joined in).
