strange booking error

strange booking error
Hello all,
Sorry if this has been brought up before - I could not find the thead.
I would like to book AMS - BKI, KUL-AMS in Y through the Qatar website. It gives me plenty of options for both legs but somehow when i try to finalize it, it prices the last part (KUL-KBI or HKG-KBI) in business which makes the prices go up to about 2400 euro, 1900 more than the itinerary in economy would costs. I know there is plenty of availability in economy as I can book the same itinerary via third parties and it's not date specific - I tried plenty of options.
Anyone any idea why this would happen?

In short: a bad combination of booking class rules and horrible IT..
Multi-city routings can be a pain online on QR.. you might have better chances calling them, even though that would mean a booking fee (and possibly long waiting times)
Or just book via third parties, might be easier too!
