DRW-SIN-CDG - Status Points?

Hello,
I have to fly DRW-SIN-CDG return on Y (ticketed K) and was just wondering how many status credits this route can earn? I tried to search through the point calculator and through the forum but can't seem to find the info anywhere since both flights are codeshares (JQ and AF but on QF ticket).
Would I be right to assume that the DRW-SIN route can earn 20 points and the SIN-CDG 40 points? When I fly DRW-SIN on JetFlex I usually earn 40 points but other fares earn 0. Since it is a QF ticket this time (with QF flight number), can I hope to get at least 20 points?
Thanks for your answers.
Also it may be of interest for any other passenger experiencing this route to know that even though you cannot select your seat on the Qantas site for the SIN-CDG route you can strangely do it if you enter your booking number on the AF site!

From reading the earning table on the QFFF site you are correct in assuming that a QF marketed K class ticket on a JQ flight will earn status credits.

thanks for the tip re seating via the Air France site.

Regards

Which should be apparently obvious since the flight is AF metal.

Not obvious to me. I would have thought that the marketting airline controlled seat allocation.

But if it is that logical why can't I do the same with the Jetstar leg? The Jetstar website does not even recognise my QF booking number while the AF does... And QF website only allows me to select an aisle/window preference on any of the legs. I really was well surprised the AF site let me choose a seat for a QF ticket.

I stand to be corrected (and forget about QF and JQ ie not part of same ownership group) but is there any airline out there that allows another airline to control its seat allocation.

Yes.

I had a booking on BA7311 (QF1) and was able to select seats online using BA.com !

I think that's simply because the ba.com is being allowed access to QF's seat allocation system, not because BA is controlling it! That, of course, is very easy in that case because BA and QF are both hosted by Amadeus and work very closely together on the JSA routes.

In past years several airlines had codeshare agreements where the plane was physically segregated. Each airline had separate cabins on the plane, and controlled the seat allocation separately. It was like a partial wet lease of the plane; but those codeshare agreements seem to have all ended (they may have been required due to regulatory approvals). I even remember one codeshare that had different cabin staff and meal service. Now I am only aware of codeshares where the operating airline controls the flight fully and the marketing airline just markets the flight.
