Refund of price difference?

I know some sites refund you the difference if a ticket price changes, but cannot seem to find if Qantas does this. I booked a ticket LAX-BNE for about $907 and now it is $657. Is there any way to get the difference refunded for this? The ticket is non-refundable so I couldn't really change things around for the difference. Just curious if anyone knows anything...

Qantas does not refund any difference if there is suddenly a cheaper fare.

If the baked beans you bought at the supermarket yesterday are now on special today, can you get the difference back?

Similarly, if the baked beans you buy today go back to the normal price tomorrow would you be willing to pay the supermarket more?

No. Refunds when the price drops, only happens in the USA.

If your fare was able to be canceled or changeable then you could do something. NB, You might be able to add on sectors for free (or minimal cost), if the total cost of the new fare (with the extra sectors) is around the same value of your old fare, but again this depends on the conditions of your original fare.

Qantas does not ask for more money if there is suddenly a higher fare.

Really? Can you give us some examples of airlines that do that?

Oh I know....it's not my first ticket to go to Australia I just bought it at the price I did because I thought it was decent at the time and may go up if I waited. I guess that could have happened and then it would have been worse!
