Class doesn't show on website
On the Qantas frequent flyer website I can find my booking and schedule, but cannot find the class of flight anywhere. The reason I am curious is that I recently upgraded by phone and want to ensure the upgrade has been done. If anyone knows how to find the class of flight by the FF site or the Qantas site please let me know. Thanks.

In Manage your Booking, it will say Class: Economy or your class, followed by the fare bucket you're in (J, U, Y, F, A, etc). This information is underneath the flight details on the left hand side.

Upgrade requests with points can be made by phone. The upgrade with QF points, if it happens, will only be known a few hours before the flight.

Thanks guys. It was a paid upgrade. Under 'Manage My booking' the class does not show - honestly - no matter how much I look. The good news - checkmytrip worked! Brilliant! I didn't know that one. Many thanks.

I presume this was a domestic upgrade using points.
I have a couple of these and the booking class (U) is show.
You may have to click the [+]More flight info toggle to see it. It certainly works on each of my upgraded flights. (Don't worry if you see "Upgrade status: Declined" this is a bug. As long as you see "Status: Confirmed" above that and "Class: Business (U)" below it.
www.Checkmytrip.com will show the cabin class (as in Business), but not the booking class (as in U).

No, it really was a paid upgrade. It is international - MEL-HKG. Really, honestly and truly, even after clicking '+ More Flight Info' nothing shows about my class of flight - either in words or code letters. I know people who use this succesfuly will think I am doing something wrong or not loking properly, but I really am looking and checking. Checkmytrip worked perfectly - so it is confirmed there. I also now have the itinerary with confirmation via email - so I am happy with that. It still does not show my class of booking in any way at all when I log on to the Qantas site - honest :>) This what it shows:
Status: Confirmed
Flight Duration: 8h 51m
Travel Money
That's all there is after the normal flight details of time etc.

Hi Brian1042
Paid upgrade you mean using miles? If that is the case then there is a 'dance' that goes on in the 24 hours or so before flight time in which you may see flights and booking classes waitlisted and upgrades declined.
This is spelled out in this excellent thread from the Australian Frequent Flyer forum:

OK, www.checkmytrip.com now only shows the booked cabin for each segment; not the actual fare bucket/booking class.
This site may help with that: LAN eTicket Print utility
