seating configuration

Can anyone advise me what configuration will be used on an aircaft from PER to SYD and the MEL to PER. They are both 767-300ER but the QF site shows a few different options.

Hello yemanlj,

Welcome to the Qantas Forum.

With regards to your query, Qantas use a mixture of 767 aircraft on trans-Continental flights. Click below for the seatmaps:

30J/214Y (ZX series with Domestic Millennium config)
30J/224Y (Domestic Millennium config)
25J/204Y (International Dreamtime config)

It is difficult to determine which configuration you will receive unless you are a Qantas staff member with access to an operations system. Otherwise the best way of determining which configuration you have is to check the aircraft rego at the gate and match it to the seatmap (check QFlyer or Qantas.com to match aircraft registrations to configurations/seatmaps).

In this instance, using previous route data will not be useful in determining which aircraft configuration you will receive.

Even if you are told that you will be flying on a 767 with a specific configuration it can change minutes before departure - happened to me many times via a simple gate change and subsequent change to the operating aircraft.

PM me a few days before the departure date (with specific departure date and flight numbers) and I'll do my best to assist you with the information you require(as mentioned, any information provided is subject to change)

Take care,

Cheers
