Seating Preference in U

Seating Preference in U
New to this forum but Im hoping some of you regulars may be able to help. Im after some seating advice. Im flying MEL - LAX and have been allocated 18K. Good seat? Bad seat? Any better seat to try for?

It depends on what you're after. If you want to be the first person off the plane (i.e. have a tight connection at LAX), you probably want to sit downstairs. If you like the upper deck, then it's ok. It's the last row on the right, the closet and toilet are just behind you. Personally I prefer row 16 because there is no seat in front of it. The only seat I really try to avoid is 19K because it is right across from the toilet.

.19A/B is opposite the toilet.
I suggest the OP has a search through this forum to find many many posts on seating pref on QF 747-400 aircraft in J. I know I have posted my preferences at least a dozen times.
