I hope through my opinions of the beer drinkers I have not offended anyone but back to the thread at hand. I Checked the ITN site twice in the last 8 hours and on the second attempt 5 U seats became available. Rang QF and requested one, was told he was showing zero seats. Went hmmmm, hung up. Checked site again and zero seats were showing. It could not have been my mistake as I printed the ITN site before closing. Anyone else had weird info from ITN?

Your theory has merit, however, would that not affect the J and D seats which have, give or take had a rise and fall of 1 or 2 over the past 2 days. Basically Business class availability has not changed since the hiccup. Meloz |

I just gave the premium desk a call as I munched my lunch.
The waitlist for "U" is empty. Economy is wiiiide open. J7 D6 is important. Why? Because yield management doesn't believe it can sell most of those 7 seats in J for full price - so 6 of them are discounted. I was told my chances of getting a U seat released on Thursday afternoon would be good, if there were still 4 or 5 D seats available. Now I'm going to stay on, and off, topic with this post, because I'm still looking forward to those 17 beers. And yes, Dave, I will get a FBH if I drink those in one session. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif |
I think I'd love a job in QF yield/revenue management just so I could play with the availabilities somehow and see the reaction in FT! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif
No, just kidding. Oh, just to stay on topic, I understand O class is rock bottom discount.. but is it the lowest (I mean I believe O ranks in lower than N). Anyone know the lowest priority revenue booking class at QF? (so ignore the nonrev/award classes)? ------------------ RichardMEL, UA 1K A Star Alliance Member. |
Many thanks Mr Roo

Mr Roo wins the beer. 1 U class became available at 08:30. Many thanks to all for the help.

"S" is the instant purchase fare available over the 'phone. |
