You've got to be joking - have you ever eaten at Perry's joint?

He catered for a wedding we were at a few years ago - single serving everything. Gnocci was served as an entre......with all of 4 pieces of gnocci. Probably cost $200 a head.

If you do win, keep plenty of chips & biscuits handy for after dinner - you're going to need them.

I tend to agree...I've eaten at Rockpool and had to stop at MacDonalds on the way home

No, I have not eaten at his places. It sounds like he serves airline-sized portions, which is probably why QF use him to create the inflight menues. Still, saves plenty of room for the wine and desert!

I wonder if he also washes the dishes afterwards? Would be worth it just for that.

If only I were a QF club member, my sure to be prizewinning sentence would be:
"I'd like chicken pesto pasta to see whether it bears any resemblance at all to the muck we're served on Melbourne-Sydney dinner flights"

But you only used 24 of your 25 allowed words! You could add another adjective to enhance the flavour of your sentence

An excellent point, NM! My revised sentence is:
"I'd like rubberised chicken pesto pasta to see whether it bears any resemblance at all to the muck we're served on Melbourne-Sydney dinner flights"
