QF flights cheaper through their website?
I think/hope I just ticketed a Qantas flight SYD-ADL-SYD (with fairly restrictive conditons). The lowest fare offered in N. America is US$496 for those days. I bought a ticket (waiting for e-confirmation) on the Qantas site www.qantas.com.au as an e-ticket for US$187. This is cheaper than even the Kangaroo pass (US$150 or so a segment).

I think most Australian travel agents would be able to match that fare for a 14 or 21 day advance booking - its about AUS$315.
Last time I took this flight it cost me AUS$295.
You might find it worthwhile to look at the Qantas Aussie Pass, rather than the Qantas Kangaroo pass (go to site www.qantas.com.au).
These sectors are about US$95 each for a minimum of 3. So, for about US$321, you could fly Sydney-Adelaide-Brisbane-Sydney, or Sydney-Adelaide-Hobart-Hobart-Sydney.
