Enough time between flights

Hello,

I have a United flight from LAX landing ay SYD at 610am. I then have a Qantas flight going to Darwin at 9:35am. Do you think that's enough time to clear customes, get luggage, transfer terminals, and check in?

Thanks,
Aaron

Hi Aaron
Heaps of time.. My average time from aircraft door to the outside world is 40 minutes in Sydney. My longest was 1 hour due to problems unloading the baggage from the aircraft.
The domestic terminal is on the other side of the airport but there are buses to get you there. Once you're on the bus it should only take 10 minutes.

It may be best to have something to declare to customs - that way you use the red channel - often quicker than the green.

Cheers everyone. As long as my first flight is relatively on time, I should be set. It's a nonstop from LAX so weather wont be a factor on this side.

Weather may be a factor in SYD. Fog has been an issue on a few mornings recently. Usually happens after a string of high humidity wet weather days. Unlikely, but can happen.

And buy something duty free so you can use the duty free immigration queue.
