I did spend the day in Fort Worth (Due to the fact I was to hung over to go to the game ) But then when UT won I hit Dallas up and had a massive night as you point out it was the first time UT beat OU in 5 years. It was great times...Dallas was full of lovely College Chicks who just loved an Aussie accent

They may have lost the empire, but they won the Rugby (World Cup) and the Ashes ... so perhaps the Aussie need a change in diet before we flog them next summer.

As someone that lived in DFW, there is nothing to do there.

However, it would be a much better place to 'connect' than LAX.

OT I hear Air New Zealand used to have a AKL-DFW flight back in the 1980's
