There is a 50% bonus going on at the moment for trans-Tasman crossings.

Ask Kiwi Flyer about how many trips he's got planned before the end of the offer period...

As QF WP writes, Qantas are having a bonus points promotion at the moment. More details here: http://www.qantas.com.au/fflyer/dyn/...feb/newZealand

Counld the current bonnus have anything to do with the current load factors on the trans-Tasman routes?

I believe there was an article in the AFR on Monday duscussing this. Something about the seriously reduced numbers of tickets from travel agents because QF reduced the comission rate and the other airlines on the route did not. Espcially noted were the possible effects of the EK and TG flights and comission rates.

        Happy wandering

Possibly. There's fierce competition on most of the tasman routes.
