Hmmm, maybe we can make a FT-night of the BNE one, bravoecho ???? I'm up for an extra 1,000 FF points. Might even drag along Mrs QF WP for her free 1,000 FF points

Not a bad idea QF WP. At the moment i'll be in town.

Now that you have been introduced to one of the worlds best sports, you will be amazed the lengths (and dollars ) you will go to to satisfy the desire for powder .

Edit - just went onto the website to register where they take your FF number. I wonder if you don't attend whether you will still get the points. I entered a friend who won't attend just to test it (he does know that I am using his details).

If you register but dont attend, they deduct 1000 points from your account, and you are demoted one status level. However, if you are already NB, the demotion software gets confused and you flip right around and become WP.

Okay, now I've only skiied 3 times in my life...you don't think that I'm going for the powder reports do you bravoecho - at least I can ski better than IainF.

Now where are all the other BNE FT'ers...NM, CO BNE, Ekka, Willyroo, Bundy Bear, dOOt, ozmerish ???

As someone who has spent the last 3 winters skiing and boarding have been wanting to go to the Northern Hemisphere sometime. This sounds like a fun way of getting 1,000 points. I can ski probably better than QF WP but I think that CraigO has got us all beat.

Bundy Bear, totally agree that my skiing prowess would pale into insignificance against Craigo's instructor-wielding capabilities (or even bravoecho probably). When I told Craigo what I was doing wrong by PM, he gave me a lesson by "reply".

My brother has done Whistler (snowboarding), but broke his collarbone ~ 6 months ago, so hasn't been planning any more trips...but he wants to go to Japan.

Thanks for the vote of confidence Bundy Bear and QF WP (blush). I'll be back down at Thredbo in late June to instruct on weekends until late September and then a return trip to Alpbach in Austria in January to do my demonstration runs again so that I can get that blasted Anwaerter certificate this time.

Enjoy the Skimax evening. I've used them for two trips to NZ and they've been good. If you want any advice about places in the Western US, France or Austria, PM me.

Signed up tonight for BNE - see ya there

I'll just say that with my unique ski style (none), I'm still waiting on a call from the Olympic Committee Any trip i take that I don't break something I rate as a success!

If anyone wants to have dinner at the Hilton, let me know. Think my Diamond Club will still be valid - haven't had a moment to renew it.

At the time of this even in Brisbane, I will be soaking in a cabana at The Wing at HKG awaiting the late night departure of QF98 back to BNE. I will be thinking of you all while I soak and sip on my scotch.
