Seat Assignment

Hello all,
I have searched this forum and discovered that seats on domestic flights are allocated shortly before the flight departs, and that seats are allocated based on One World status. But I couldn't find anything that discusses if the fare paid contributes to seat allocation. For example, do full fare business class passengers get seat assignments ahead of upgrades on domestic flights?

Thanks in advance.

Seat assignments are just bsed on FF status. The fare paid only reflects the cabin you purchased. How you get into the cabin (award ticket, full fare ticket, upgraded with points or UC's) makes no difference.
