Yeah, same thing happened to me the other day at Coles. Tim Tams went from $1.98 to $2.42 overnight. Its a real shame my TT craving happened the day after the sale ended. That was a 22% increase because I missed the special price . But don't tell Mrs NM. She thinks I only buy them when they are on special .

See, that's where the real story is. The media are still banging away about the intra-week fluctuations of petrol prices, but no one is onto the TimTam issue.

And have you noticed that its either Coke or Pepsi that is on special, but never both! And does the ACCC look into that issue? Sheesh, we are really being manipulated by the power and collusion of the multinational beverage companies. And the ACCC spend their time blocking QF/NZ from working together, or evaluating of QF started BNE-ADL flights because there was passenger demand or to be anti-competative because only DJ has real passenger demand for that route? Can we divert the ACCC to the real issues?

Perhaps I should start a campaigne to stop people buying Tim Tams when they are not on special, forcing Arnotts to have perpetual special pricing for my preferred vice?

Ahh, but do the Woolies sales start on Sundays, or is Sunday the last day of the sale, and hence they price is back up by 22% now that it is Monday? Now, getting back to og original post, his flight is now going to cost him two packets of Tim Tams more than if he had purchased before the fare sale ended .
