Jetstar named most on-time airline
DISCOUNT airline Jetstar's tough boarding policy is paying dividends. Jetstar had the best on-time performance of any airline in June, Bureau of Transport and Regional Economics figures show. Jetstar has come under fire over its strict rule to close check-in 30 minutes before flights depart.
BTRE data shows that in June, 94.5 per cent of Jetstar arrivals were on time, as were 92.5 per cent of departures. The equivalent figures for Qantas were 88.3 per cent and 87.8 per cent. Virgin Blue's figures were 88.9 per cent and 89.9 per cent.

Yes it works, but, at a cost. A wait of 2 hours at BNE airport is hard, if you do not have Qantas Club membership, do it if you have it, other wise take a good book!
