Another Airbus
Does anyone know what the A330-300 order that AAirbus lists for Qantas on 30 July was about? (i.e. is it a conversion of an option, a new order?)

It would have to be a conversion of an option. Options are typically cheaper than making a new order, particularly for a single hull, since they are tacked on to the end of an existing order, and are paid for regardless of whether the option is converted or not.
