Earning QF S/C and points on AA ticketed flight operated by Qatar
Hi brains trust,
I see sone great flights between Jakarta and New York on Qatar metal. Ticketed by AA as an AA codeshare flight operated by Qatar.
I can’t bring it up on the Qantas calculator or find an answer on the QF website.
Obviously both a Oneworld ticketing carrier and Oneworld operating carrier but I’m always nervous about codeshare quirks and generally try to avoid booking them…
Anyone had any experience with this and received points and S/C?

Should credit as AA, with an AA marketed (flight number) and QR operated flight. Who tickets is irrelevant.
Finding the airline partner tables on the QF web site is (deliberately) hard.
Codeshares don't show in the (very poor limited) calculator.

Sorry for hijacking this thread, but I have a similar problem.
i flew KUL-DOH as QR codeshare flight, operated by MH (booking class QR R), but got rejected for a credit.
I don‘t understand it why.
Since it is a QR marketed flight, operated by a OW carrier, the points should show, right ?

QR R flight number on a oneworld operating airline MH should earn.

QF earning on MH are poor and with qualifications, but QR marketing (flight number) should take precedence.
No R class listed for MH table, so nil earn, but should earn as QR R.

QF auto crediting of codeshares is dismal. I just send an email to frequent flyer with ticket and boarding pass, get the case number and then resend every month. After about six or so attempts it eventually credits. They usually send very unhelpful emails to send in the ticket and BP which I have been doing.
