How far in advance do you plan for a classic rewards flight in general?
Hi all,
Managed to save up some points and looking into some classic rewards flight using points. From your experiences how far do you usually plan ahead to get the seats you're after? 3 months? 6 months? 12 months?
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

QF & JQ fly to ICN, HNL and various airports in Thailand. And some partner airlines.

They used to release a couple of premium awards 353 days out but they have stopped doing that post covid. Premium awards on their international are very rare - you'll likely have better (but not great) luck on partner award. (If they aren't blocking access like QR).
