Surprise 'lifetime' membership

Intriguing story. U suppose when things are too good to be true, they are usually not true...

The tribunal went as would be expected , biut it does seem that the plaintiff did take action to investigate why the strange lifeitime membership was given

Would have been easy enough for Qantas to resolve this without too much trouble. Before becoming a lifetime SG, I also held a lifetime QP card and so does Mrs. DUF.

Just work out how much QF should refund you. I can’t see why this would be problematic.

It must of been loaded in QF’s system as LIFETIME too? If she had access for a couple of years. Then someone at QF did a clean up or a systwm update.

On the day of the hearing, James said Qantas offered his wife a four-year membership and some frequent flyer points.


Man, this was the offer they should have taken. Or at least a starting point for negotiations. Never go to 'trial' unless you have to!

Likely not.
Card arrived Dec 18
Paid until Dec 19
Didn’t travel at all in 2020
Rejected April 2021
