Seattle lounges?

Hello. Im Qantas P1 travelling in F from SEA to ORD. Is there any lounge in Seattle I will have access to? The AS lounge seems only accessible if I am flying on AS. Thanks

Are you traveling on AA?

There is the BA lounge, non AAdvantage Emerald/Sapphire traveling oneworld should get access:

https://www.oneworld.com/airport-lounges?location=SEA

However, there are two caveats:

1. It is only open for 2 x 3 hours blocks each day.

2. Often the lounge agents are reluctant to allow access to oneworld elites traveling AA domestically - while this is correct for AAdvantage elites it is not true for those of other oneworld programs.

Sorry, adding onto this thread.

As a Qantas OWE status, travelling domestically on AA SEA to LAX, do I get access to any lounges? Is it the BA lounge only during the specified hours (which wont work for my flight)

There is no Admirals Club at SEA.

You may be able to use a "The Club" lounge with Priority Pass.

And no good until Summer 2021, but Alaskan has a modern lounge that looks good
Hopefully AA will move closer to the North Satellite (either N gates or C, D)

Think the other Oneworld airlines likely have to remain where they are due to the TSA facilities only covering S Pier and some A gates)

If you were flying on AS, you would have access to the AS lounge.

Hello Ian,

Similar to you, I will be flying out of SEA next month with an AA F domestic ticket. I am OW Emerald (QF Platinum) and believe there is reciprocal agreement at the moment between AA/AS for lounges so I should be able to use any AS lounge at SeaTac.

Did you get into the BA lounge and/or AS lounges at SEA with your domestic AA ticket?

The Alaska lounges are not Oneworld lounges. That agreement, I'm fairly certain, is only for paid members of either the Alaska Lounge program or the American Admirals Club program (members of either program have access to the Alaska Lounge locations at SEA when flying Alaska or American -- there are a few other nuances, but that is good generalization). The Alaska lounges at SEA do not offer access to Oneworld members based on Oneworld status, nor are they listed on the Oneworld website's lounge finder for SEA.

I am similar to you, OWE as a QF Platinum. I was flying SEA>LAX on an AA flight but could not enter the Alaska lounges in the terminal I was in. We have to wait until 2021 when AS becomes a OW airline to get lounge access.

The horse has bolted now but I did some flying around the US 18 months ago, all on AA F except for SEA-LAX which I deliberately made AS F, so I could access the AS lounge at SEA. The lounge wasn't overly flash but the ticket was cheaper than AA on the same routing. I think I earned QF points but not SCs.
