Access to Qantas Domestic Business Lounge Sydney
I'll be flying into Sydney on a Cathay business class ticket from Hong Kong, and then transferring same day to a Qantas economy flight to Brisbane. Question is, can I get into the Qantas Domestic Business Lounge? I'm aware of the OneWorld rule about transferring on same day, but there's something about the wording I've read on the business lounge which makes me wonder. I'm sure access to the Club Lounge is fine, but the Business lounge looks better. I don't have any OneWorld status.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Welcome to FT @gerardod
Under oneworld rules you should* be fine - make sure you keep your inbound boarding pass to show at the Sydney domestic lounge.
* There have been recent reports of some lounge staff not being aware of the oneworld rules, but this was not in Sydney. YMMV

The Sydney J lounge has yet to be refurbished so it is only marginally better than the Qantas Club ... by contrast the MEL J lounge which reopened after a long refurbishment is much better than the QP (including better food). Eventually SYD will catch up, but closing the lounge is painful hence it will take a while. I often don't bother going to the SYD J lounge.
