As you "Requested before 17 Sept" it should be the old. Date of flight is a different parameter.
What is the old/new rate?

Old rate is 50000 points. New rate is 54500 points.

"Five million reward seats". All of them on China Eastern from what I can see.

China Eastern 1st and business class cabins look really nice, so a good airline to have availability on
