Qantas points challenge
Hi guys,
So I've had some Qantas points expire on me and the agent on the phone has kindly offered me the 2500 points challenge to re-instate the expired points. I have purchased from 2 different retail stores on the Qantas store which totalled >2500 points. I did remember that the 2500 points have to be from 2 different sources.Would these 2 different retailers be considered the 1 source or 2? Thanks for your input!

I have no anecdotes one way or the other. What does your challenge email state?
But perhaps no, given the 8 ways to earn points listed on the login account page:
-Flights
-Food and wine
-Shopping
-Cards and banking
-Cars and hotels
-Qantas Cash
-Insurance
-Phone and more
I would be looking to source from an additional category.

Hey Serfty,
Yup. There was no email about the challenge but I rang them and they said its gotta be from 2 different sources ie. 2 different online retailers are still considered the same source because they were from the Qantas store. A bit of a bummer because I'm over the 2500 points but just need 1 more point from another source! Do you know of which of the other sources would be the quickest? I was gonna book a parking lot in the city but apparently the points take up to 6 weeks to be credited?

If you have a fitbit (or I think apple watch - but check that) download the Q assure app and sign up to their weekly step challenge. I get between 12 and 15 points posted to my Qantas account like clockwork every Saturday morning.
Comet21's suggestion is also a good one - in my experience the Ingogo points post reasonably quickly (circa 7-10 days).

Points from Rockpool group tend to be fairly quick, so perhaps get a drink at a Bavarian.
Hoyts membership is also apparently pretty quick.

I have had points from 3 Rockpool outlets so far. Points from 2 outlets posted overnight. Points from one virtually on the spot. Seems a good way to go. Wines or other items bought from Qantas Epiqure also post within a few days of making your order.
