Interline Baggage
If flying between Mumbai (BOM) to Auckland (AKL) one one ticket will QF & 9W check-in baggage through final destination?

This is for elderly couple and I am unable to find it on Qantas or Jet airways website. And call centre gave 2 different answers.

Any help appreciated

What's the routing, are there any long layovers?

BOM- BKK - SYD - AKL

AKL- SYD - HKG - BOM

with short layovers

Jet Airways lists Qantas as a through check partner, so if all on one ticket they should be able to do it.

Qantas in India says bags will be checked in throughout while Qantas in Auckland says bags needs to be retrieved at Sydney and rechecked in again. Hence, not sure what to expect.

What you've been told is incorrect. Bags will go through.

Just make sure the visa requirements for AU -771 are fulfilled if applicable.

They are not travelling on Indian passport so visa is not an issue.
