I'll be Platinum for AGM and tour now, thanks to some shift swapping at work!
I hope the tour is as great as the Catering visit last year.
Look forward to the great occasion!

Looks like a good crowd will be in attendance, but a few missing in action.
Sad but understandable, I am sure we will catch up another time during the year.
Oh no; well enjoy Melbourne.
Another sad smiley
I would not expect anything less from you, be good if you can attend but understand if you can't.
Good news, I think you missed last year.
Brisbane is a bit far from London,
Will be sad to miss you as well, think of the miles you could have received for flying in, and you must be using a lounge type computer if you have a key problem, that was so last decade, Ozfest for me is looking doubtful.
As indicated:I will be sad to miss this - first time such a thing since I joined FT.
Will just have to console myself with a glass or three in the MEL Flounge and ponder the events occurring as I fly over much of Indonesia on my nett $350 return fare ...
A little short notice 6 weeks for things like this is.

I forgot to "budget" the [substantial] time to actually downsize "stuff" and move house. Given I am travelling every week (as usual), I only have weekend days (on some weekends when in Melbourne) to downsize my life, pack up and move house.
I am probably unable to attend this weekend, unless the tour is particularly amazing, as I really do have a lot on my plate at the moment.

Okay!.. am back on the grid, but off to the US again tomorrow, so here's what I've put in place for the after party..
Plus, I have a few questions for the group.
Byblos was a winner for 2016, so as per suggestion have booked them.
They are close & the ambience works well for our sort of group.
Same space as last year I think. Outside but under some cover. High table seats 12, and should work for us as we are a group that stands & circulates a lot. We are also stayers, so more chairs will become available as other groups fade
Starting from 6pm - should we make this 6:15? Or 6:30? Or will QF be happy to see the back of us when we head off around 5:45 for a 6pm start?
The food last year was yummy. It was around $27 per head.
Was it enough? For around $7 pp more we can get an extra 2-3 things. And a few $s more for more choices.. I recall a number of us did order extra.
So, step up to next level, or stay with the $27 & buy extra each as desired?
As usual, everyone is on their own for beverages.
I will set up Event Brite or similar for payment so that we have numbers confirmed by this.
They do charge a small fee for doing collections. Is everyone okay with this method? (And is Admin okay with this?)
At this stage I have booked for 25, starting at 6pm, & need to have our $27 or + confirmed by 16/2.
Will hopefully get enough concensus here to my questions so that when I land in the US I can get the fine tuning set up & good to go.
Meanwhile, the most important thing is done with our booking in place
And meanwhile, if the tour is announced while I am in transit, jet lagged etc, please do save me a place
