Qantas Tightens Lounge Access Rules for Emirates Passengers

I was travelling as a gold FF member, and the 'excuse' was the boarding pass would not scan and the guy also said the would not call the QF flight (which I thought was an EK code share but I could be wrong on that one), and the lounge closed half an hour before my boarding so all in all not welcoming at all, while the EK staff in Dubai and Dusseldorf were great, and QF cabin crew also.

If so, then they were incorrect, perhaps getting confused? There have been some changes to the rules lately, but they mainly affect QP members, not SG or WP: (Qantas Frequent Flyer - Tier Benefits - Gold)

QF likely don't care if EK status pax use QF lounges, provided their EK status is on the booking. EK pays QF for EK pax/status holders to use QF lounges.
