D Availability
I hope you good people can help.....
I am looking at a RTW OW ticket (DONE4), and am wanting to fly SYD-NRT on either 17/08 or 18/08, but there is no QF availability on the OW RTW planner. A quick look at ITA Matrix suggests there is no D class availability in all of August, only J.
Is this likely? Or always the case?
It means I would have to connect and take a long time to do this flight any other way.
Many thanks for your help.

D Availability
Thanks - yes I can get the JL flight, but the QF one works better for me timing wise - and just wondered if there was a general QF D issue somewhere (similar issues on my HKG-SYD flight, where I will end up on CX).

Neither QF nor JL is showing any D availability on August 16, 17 or 18 (Friday, Saturday, Sunday). They both have availability on August 14, 15, 19 and 20 (Wednesday, Thursday, Monday, Tuesday). The following week, JL has availability all weekend, QF only on Sunday. The previous week, they both have D availability every day of the week, except QF on Monday August 12.
Generally, plenty of availability - except for the days you want
. Are your plans flexible?
