QF TBIT LAX lounge access - invite
Hi,
On the QF website it says to access the lounge in LAX an invite will be issued at checkin. For a passenger flying in C MEL-SYD-LAX-JFK, will domestic checkin in MEL be able to issue the invite?

No, but it hardly matters. You have to clear immigration and customs at LAX which puts you landside, and then recheck for the LAX-JFK flight. You will get the lounge invite then, though most of the time they haven't bothered (there is a list at the lounge, and they check the BP -- the invitation piece of paper is just a placebo). Curious why you aren't flying MEL-LAX non-stop, much nicer in C than via SYD.
