How far out do Jetstar release award seats?

How far out do Jetstar release award seats?
I am currently putting a couple of award flights in the system for the middle of next year out of Cairns and I can not access award flights on Jetstar after June 30 (coming home).
I phoned Qantas and their answer was "Jetstar do not release seats as far out as Qantas". A bit more prompting gave me the response of "I have no idea"
Cairns to Tokyo return on Jetstar makes sense for me in *class/business as there are always award seats available to and from London with BA in all classes out of Tokyo.
Anyone have experience with Jetstar award seats release time frame?
