upgraded flight (should have said 7000 points) flight has gone through as award flight, no points, ~ or SC, but no point deduction for the upgrade.
Unlikely to make WP this year - unlikely to make SG, actually as it's now 10 months without a job.

For me it's would be just about "a wash" based on cost per SC earn compared to the value of 7500 QFF points.
The other issue is that it's really "7K QFF points" against "30 SC's and at least 1000 QFF point earn".

It depends on how much you value SCs. If you are sitting at 200SCs and are not trying to get LTG then the value of those SCs is almost zero.
