Agreed, plus there's a rather considerable difference between a more or less average TAP fare (e.g. the ones to RAI) versus an obvious mistake fare that would otherwise be an incredible deal (assuming it was both bookable and not cancelled as a mistake fare). A $1,500 fare isn't enough to convince me to jump, but $590 for that much Star Alliance mileage is another story. I'm also an optimist on these things, given that FT is where I found my best error fare ever (among ones not cancelled): one-way international F from DXB to AUS, of all routes, for $600. While this thread should probably be closed (or the subject line changed to indicate a dead fare) if the fare's entirely impossible to book, and it's simply a coincidence that it matches the admittedly unusual BOS-RAI city pairing, I'd still argue they merit separation.
